Telnet Server & Client Configuration in RHEL6/CentOS

                Telnet Server & Client Configuration

Ø  Telnet is used for Remotely Access The Networking Devices

Ø  Port No. 23

First of all we install Telnet Server Package

 

Ø  Now Configure the Telnet Server Configuration file

 

Ø  We Restart and Save the Telnet(Which under the Xinetd) Service

 

 Ø  Now Test

 

Ø  Install Telnet Client to Access other Networking Devices through Linux Machine (router, switch &etc.)

 

Ø  Now Check
